Four-point contact bearings are primarily used for slow to moderate-speed applications.
Four-point ball bearings are single row angular contact ball bearings which can accommodate high axial loads in both directions and low radial loads. Larger four-point ball bearings have 2 grooves for fixing the outer ring (suffix N2). Most four-point ball bearings are fitted with machined brass cages (suffix MPA). There are also few available in polyamide cages (suffix TVP).
